Exploration of the space we inhabit.
We are used to move around it in a particular fashion, we are used to look at it from a particular height and we are used to interact with the objects in it in a particular manner.
This work is an attempt to explore my space with an open mind – examine how it looks like from way below the eye level or from way above, isolate objects, study the textures or the lighting.
Through a number of photographs, videos, sounds recordings and drawings taken from my apartment I search for unfamiliarity in a familiar space, discovering unknown features and little mysteries and surprises.
This particular video explores the light in that space. Natural light and artificial light, at night and during the day, its reflections, fluctuations and shadows. The result is a short video that is enigmatic whilst evocative and intimate.
